Trains and I don’t seem to go well together. Been in Berlin over 10 days, never had any train issues with the S41/S42 lines that circles the city. On the day you need it to be on time, it breaks down. Good thing the Ostbahnhof station is fairly close by, just a taxi ride away.

That was just the beginning. When I arrived at the station,  it turns out I’m at the wrong station.  Good thing Krakow, Poland is a common route from Berlin, was able to exchange the to ticket and leave from Ostbahnhof.

There might an issue affecting all trains in Berlin, the train to Poland left 45mins late. That in turns missed the connecting train to Krakow. Worst case scenario, stay the night in the small town. Sometimes flying is easier, but also less adventurous.
