After 2 days in Cam Rand, bike is finally fixed this morning. The repair shop hired outside help to rebuild the tranny, he told me this guy is the expert.
A bunch of parts were replaced from the tranny. I suspect 1st and 2nd gears and some guiding devise. All this cost $40… Parts and labor
Initially bike was repaired yesterday, but after the test ride along the mountain roads, 3 gear started to exhibit the same issue. So dropped it off again this morning, and was ready for pickup within 1.5 hours. It is impressive how quickly they can repair a major issue such as this. Sourcing parts and fully dissemble the engine and tranny, and then fully reassemble within hours.
We started heading to Nha Trang via HWY QL1, it is loud and busy. We haven’t been on this HWY since leaving HCMC. We have been taking the off the beaten path instead. On QL1, the trucks have especially loud horn, possibly deafening. Good that it is just a short ride before we headed west along the coast. It’s just beautiful fishery and coastline, Vietnam is so beautiful.
Once we arrived Nha Trang, we saw this ice delivery. This is probably why it’s good avoiding anything with ice in your drinks
