Took a ride in some crazy fast boat down narrow canals of Bangkok. For 18bath (60 cents), it sure is a great way to cross from west to East and vise versa.
It’s amazing how these boats are packed with locals. Don’t expect the boat will wait for you to completely get on before moving. Nor expect any life jackets on board.
Another great find is the local food stalls just south of the Thong Lo station. Easily spotted while heading to Exit 4.
The mango sticky rice is the cheapest and the best I’ve had so far. $2 compare to the $4+ around town, perfectly ripped for the sweetest. Ordered a few other dishes of food that are also extremely delicious for the value. Sorry, devoured the dishes before I remembered to take a pic with my phone.
