The past week has been overwhelmed with technical troubleshooting. The great firewall of China filters out pretty much all the western social media sites, such as Facebook, YouTube, and some news media sites. Everything is being monitored by the big brothers.
VPN is one of the ways around the firewall. It is definitely isn’t plug and play easy. Connection has been sporadic, adding to the challenge, big brother has been closing on most of the Vpn servers. So the same server was working yesterday, but completely fails today and there after. Adding to the challenge, can’t look up troubleshooting help from websites, as most are already blocked.

Luckily got some technical friends outside the great firewall, and found a way around it. Contact me if you need the technical details.

Another great news, I found some time for processing photos, so got the Shanghai photos up on the site. Check them out when you get a chance . Now that the ball is rolling, hoping to work on the 100 GIGS of photos from Europe. Sounds like a daunting task.
