I have picked up a nasty dry cough since arriving Athens. That's over 2 weeks ago?
I was exhausted from the night travel train and bus, and the sudden heat probably triggered it.
It's killing me slowly, the cough will just start in the middle of the night, and cough myself awake. Tried local cough meds, over the counter cough candies, none seems to help. Hope this doesn't continue much longer, cause I'll have to seriously get this heal.
After traveling for 66 days, today will be our 1st flight on a budget airline.
Our flight from Rome to Bacelona is cheap, €40 for the flight, €25 for a piece of 15kg check in luggage, and one free 10 kg carry on.
Budget airlines keeps a tight control on your luggage weight, the penalty for overweight luggage will usually cost more than the flight itself.
My bags weighted roughly 23kgs while I was in Romania, maybe a bit more now. But what worries me is will the weight be split evenly, 10 kg for camera bag, while 15kgs for the backpack? Or are the bags over 25 kgs?
We have been in italy for almost a week. Started with Napoli for 2 nights, and the rest of the week in Roma.
Not going to comment much on Napoli other than it is the worst city I have been to during this trip around Europe. We even made it there for the Eurocup finals, Italy vs Spain.
A few mobile pics from Napoli:
As for Rome, it is definitely one of the must visit cities in Europe. I can't say it's my favorite city so far, but it is near the top of the list. There is just so much to see here.

Was in Athens for a couple of days. After meeting up with my friend E.T, we decided to travel around Greece and Italy, and skip Istanbul Turkey. In Greece, we are going to hit Delphi, Olympia, then Patra. After that, will ferry to Italy from Greece. Spend a week in Italy, before going to Spain for the bull run.
As we are leaving Athens,we are so glad we did. Although it is one of the 1st civilization cities in the world, at the moment it feels really behind. Just coming from north of eastern Europe, such as Poland, Ukraine, Romania, and Bulgaria, Greece has been my least favorite. The city of Athens...
After having the worst experience on the train from Bucharest to Sofia, I have came prepared for this 12 hours bus ride to Athens.
The train ride was like a sauna, no a/c, no beds, no food, no drinking water for the entire trip. For each station the train stops, there is nothing you can buy.
Even if you happen to dose off, you'll be waken up for passport check, tickets check, non stop throughout the night.
So for this bus ride, I have bought plenty of emergency crackers and fruits.
When your expectations are low, even simple things will WOW you. The bus stopped at a restaurant during...
