On the way to the Arena Lviv, I’ve noticed something. People in Ukraine are so polite and honest. It’s something that’s lost in the western cultures.

While on the bus, any new passengers getting on a packed bus from the back doors, you will often see they will pass their fare forward to other passengers, and money will get all the way to the driver. If exactly change was not given, you will see the change gets pass back to the passenger that paid.

Another thing that’s lost in our culture, passengers giving their seats to the elderly, or those in need. I have taken skytrain to work for over a couple years, hardly recall seeing that gesture. While seeing it frequently just being in Lviv for less than 24 hours
