Day 25-27: Vienna Austria

The Schonbrunn palace is worth visiting. The 40+ rooms are well kept exhibition of the emperor rule. Too bad no photos allowed. The ball room hall is exquisite, as grand as one imagination. This palace shows how the royalty lived. How the princess lived. Keep on princesses! The garden court yard is heavenly. It seems like a mile apart from one end to the other. Truly a palace worth visiting.

The Belvedere palace is well worth visiting as well. It is a museum of neoclassical, realism, impressionist art. The upper Belvedere took over an hour and a half of viewing. We could easily spent a day there.

Vienna is a pretty quiet town once outside the city center. We have been here 3 days, everything seems to be closed, as if it’s a holiday. Nothing stays open late except barber shops. We couldn’t find any restaurant open on the way to the airport, so finally have to settle for our 1st meal of McD of the trip.
